On Sunday I was riding my horse in a competition, and she slipped and fell (she didn't get hurt). I don't remember much, but I do remember the thud of my head hitting the ground. When I got up I was really dizzy, and I couldn't really see. It was really dim and kind of grainy, like poor quality video. I was so out of it, I hadn't actually realised that I couldn't see, and I vaugely remember insisting that I was fine and I could continue (I forgot the you can't continue if your horse falls.)Anyway, a bunch of stuff happened that I don't really remember, and the medics ended up sending me to the hospital.
The conclusion to this is that I'm not allowed to do anything that could risk me getting another head injury. I can't even run around because I might trip. Sucks muchly.
Then, this morning, my Dad was chasing some escaped calves, and he jumped over a ditch, slipped, and sprained his ankle.
Yeesh.
